What is co-managed IT? Co-managed IT is a partnership between your internal IT staff and an outside team. Your people keep control of priorities and decisions. Will Sidecar IT replace our IT staff? No. We only do co-managed IT, so we only work with organizations that have internal IT people. Our job is to make your team stronger and give them their time back, not to take their place.
How do you split responsibilities with our team? Every partnership starts with a written responsibility matrix (RACI). It lists each area of IT, who handles it, who approves changes and how we escalate. Your IT lead signs off on it and we review it every quarter.
Do you work in healthcare? Yes. Healthcare and senior living are our specialty. We sign Business Associate Agreements and work with nursing homes, assisted living, home health and clinics that have their own IT staff, plus manufacturers, professional firms, schools and local government.
